Blackguards review12/30/2023 ![]() For seasoned players, though, Blackguards is a real gem. Blackguards is not a traditional role-playing game but, despite its interesting twists, it also fails to be revolutionary for the genre, despite the pre-launch claims coming from developer. He pointed his gun at them, but, as he did not fire, this produced no effect. IGN rates it 7.8 out of 10, commenting that it improved on its predecessor: 'you can spend less time confused about the details, and more time fighting. Aggregate review website Metacritic assigned the PC version a score of 74/100 based on 48 reviews. However, that same intricacy makes for hard going and will be a harsh introduction for newcomers to the genre. blackguards go very nearly as far in insulting a poor black. Blackguards 2 received average reviews from professional critics upon release. It rewards thoughtful, intelligent play rather than brute force, making for a refreshing challenge. Blackguards 2 possesses inklings of brilliance, but unfortunately, its shortcomings are capable of dousing any fire that Blackguards 2s positives. There's also a brilliant complexity to the battle system, giving excellent control of each step taken and offering environmental tools along with magic and melee attacks. A branching story meshes nicely with the gameplay and though the battles are largely story-related with scant room for exploration, divergent narrative paths warrant replays. While Blackguards 2 is indeed a follow-up to the well-received original, it unfortunately stumbles on top of itself while trying to remain true to its predecessor. Blackguards is a rogue's journey then, albeit one wrapped in the familiar garb of heroic fantasy. From Mass Effect to Dark Souls to our beloved Final Fantasy series, numbered titles are often heralded for their new stories and updated rosters. ![]() After an unfortunate experience involving a slain princess, a torturous inquisition and a spot of jailbreaking, this turn-based strategy title places gamers not only on the wrong side of the law but requires them also, of course, to save the world, alongside an assortment of fellow escapees.

Dont starve together wikia bloom12/30/2023 In the Shipwrecked DLC, Sweet Potatoes were introduced as crops. This can be prevented by building an Ice Flingomatic nearby and keeping it fueled. Crops harvested in this state will produce one Cut Grass. Both growing and fully grown crops can wilt. Crops left on farm plots in Summer or Dry Season can wilt from the heat, and are known as Wilted Crops. In the Reign of Giants and Shipwrecked DLCs, Watermelons are added as a possible farming result. In all DLCs, Farms can catch on fire and burn down. To avoid waiting, 2 Manure, 8 Rot/ Rotten Eggs, or 2 Guano can be used to fully grow a crop planted in the Improved Farm. The Improved Farm yields 30 harvests before requiring fertilization. ![]() It can be prototyped at an Alchemy Engine and requires 10 Grass, 6 Manure, and 4 Rocks to build. The Improved Farm is an enhanced version of the Basic Farm. To avoid waiting, 4 Manure, 16 Rot/ Rotten Eggs, or 3 Guano can be used to fully grow a crop planted in the Basic Farm. Crops take 32 daylight minutes to finish growing. The Basic Farm yields 20 harvests before requiring fertilization. The Basic Farm can be prototyped at a Science Machine and requires 8 Grass, 4 Manure, and 4 Logs to build. Like any other structure, Farms can be destroyed using a Hammer or a Deconstruction Staff. If a crop has finished growing, it will not spoil in the Farm if not harvested. Crops only grow in the presence of light at nightfall, they stop growing until the following sunrise, unless they are near a light source. When the world temperature is over 28 degrees, the crops grow twice as fast. During Winter, the crops will not grow, however, during the first and last few days of Winter, the temperature is warm enough to allow fertilizing the crops to work, even though they won't grow on their own. This fertilization only affects the crops, and will not affect the fertilization status of the Farm itself. Growing crops can be fertilized to speed up their growth. Farms deplete after a number of harvests, and they need to be fertilized to grow more crops. The speed at which the crops grow depends on the world temperature, availability of light, and Rain. Specific crops can be grown by using Crop Seeds. ![]() Possible crops include Carrots, Corn, Eggplants, Pumpkins, Dragon Fruits, Durians and Pomegranates. Seeds planted in a Farm will grow a Fruit or Vegetable at random. A Farm or Farm Plot is a Structure used for Farming in Don't Starve.

Epic games phone number for suggestion12/29/2023 ![]() The proposed FTC consent order is the agency’s largest administrative settlement to date. What’s more, the FTC says when people disputed unauthorized charges with their credit card company, Epic locked their accounts, depriving them of access to content they had already paid for. How much money can a company take in by selling virtual costumes, dance moves, and piñatas shaped like llamas? It won’t surprise Fortnite fans to hear that the answer is billions, especially when, as the FTC alleges, Epic used a host of digital design tricks – dark patterns – to charge consumers for virtual merchandise without their express informed consent. But to borrow a phrase from advertisers, “But wait! There’s more!” Much, much more in the form of a separate $245 million proposed settlement with Epic Games for using digital dark patterns to bill Fortnite players for unintentional in-game purchases. The FTC’s $275 million proposed settlement with Epic Games, owner of Fortnite, alleges the company violated the law by collecting personal information from kids under 13 without parental consent and by enabling voice and text chat by default – an unfair practice that put kids and teens in risky contact with strangers.

If there are any errors or problems you find with the tide data for White Rock (or any other tidal station) please let us know.50+ How To Read A Tide Table Images. We built this tool out of a love for tides and astronomical calculations but it is not intended to be used for navigation or any purpose where you would need to rely on the data being accurate. Tide times and heights may not be 100% accurate and they also do not account for local weather conditions. Our tide prediction model for White Rock uses harmonic constants and the nearest available coordinates along with the Lowest Astronomical Tide (LAT) to define the chart datum. A spring tide is when the high and low tide difference is at it's most extreme, the highest and the lowest tides of the month. When we experience a high tide, the Earth, Moon, and Sun are in alignment, and this creats a strong gravitational pull. We call these tides neap tides, and it's when the difference between high and low tide is at its lowest.Ī neap tide happens between two spring tides, twice a month when the first and last quarter Moon appears. This means that the gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun actually work against each other. When we experience a low tide, the Moon is facing the Earth at a right angle to the Sun. These tide types occur twice every month. These are called the spring tide (also known as the King tide) and the neap tide. There are two types, or extremes, of the tide. Inertia wins, and this caused the ocean to bulge out and create a high tide.Īs the Earth spins, different locations on the planet will face the moon, and this rotation is what allows the tides to cycle around the planet. The water moving away from the moon is able to result the gravitational forces trying to pull it in the opposition direction because the gravitational pull is weaker on the far side of Earth. On the opposite side of Earth, the bulge is caused by inertia. The gravitational pull of the moon is strongest on whichever side of the Earth is facing it, annd gravity pulls the oceans towards the moon, resulting in a high tide. Tidal forces of the moon in the open ocean will form as bulges of water that face the moon, but around land mass and coast lines, the water is able to spread out onto land, which creates the tides.Įarth's tides change based on the gravitational pull of the moon as it orbits us. At the lowest point (also known as a trough) reaches the coast, we experience a low tide. When the highest point of the wave (also known as a crest) reaches a coastline, the coast experiences what we call a high tide. The tides are very long waves that move across our oceans, and they are caused by the gravitational pull from the moon and, to a lesser extent, the sun. The data and charts above provide the tide time predictions for White Rock for December 2023, with extra details provided for today, Friday December 22, 2023.

Ryze tello drone12/29/2023 ![]() The Tello app is refreshingly simple, with clearly labelled controls and a limited (but not restrictive) set of options. The most interesting is the 8D flips, which makes the drone perform precise flip-over tricks that mirror how you swipe your finger across the screen. In addition to manual flight controls, a handful of automated modes can be used to perform tricks and capture interesting videos: 360-degree rotations, 'Up & Away' (which flies – yes – up and away from you while facing you) and more. ![]() You can also use “Throw & Go” to launch the drone: turn the power on, then toss it upwards and away from you in the air, whereupon it’ll engage its rotors and hover in place. The sensors power one of the Tello’s flight tricks: the ability to hold out your hand and have the drone land on your outstretched palm (do watch your fingers until the props power down, though). This system is light-based, so only works in bright conditions. Take your hands off the controls and it will hover in place rather than drift around. This is a very practical solution that allows you to avoid damage to the drone during an unexpected loss of connection between devices. When flying on a calm day or indoors (some prop guards are included for the latter you may as well keep them attached for outdoor flights too), a pair of downward-facing sensors keep the Tello nice and steady. Thanks to its relatively small dimensions, you can take it with you anywhere.įAILSAFE FUNCTION The drone has been equipped with the FailSafe function, which allows a safe landing even in the event of loss of communication with the equipment. Light and at the same time durable construction enables efficient and free flying and acrobatics in the sky. LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN The DJI Tello drone weighs only 80 grams, which makes it one of the lightest devices of this type on the market. Thanks to the special EZ Shots function, you can record short videos and share them on social media platforms directly from your smartphone. HD VIDEOS The Intel 14-Core processor and built-in electronic image stabilization ensure breathtaking HD video recording and 5 Mpix photos. You can also try the trampoline mode, which will make the machine go up and down from your hand. To start playing with the drone, just throw the equipment into the air and the drone will stabilize its position by itself. It allows you to perform tricks in the air with just one tap on the screen. Even if you have never flown a similar device before, the friendly interface of the Tello application will allow you to quickly master flying and perform sky-high acrobatics safely.ĨD ACROBACTIONS Intel, in cooperation with DJI, patented the modern 8D aerobatic technology. The drone can fly up to 100 meters, which is a much better result than in competing products from other manufacturers.ĮASY CONTROLS One of the most important advantages of Tello is its intuitive operation, which does not require any experience in controlling drones. ![]() Thanks to the fact that it is equipped with two high-power antennas, the quality of the transmitted image is perfect and there are no interferences. Anime crossover funny12/29/2023 ![]() But for adults who have been through the golden era of anime when it was just starting to take over the world of animation, this one will bring back a whole lot of positive memories. This crossover may not be too appealing to the new generation of anime viewers. ![]() What follows is another mini enthralling adventure where many characters such as Shinichi Osawa, The Princess Knight and even Rock Holmes return.Īlong with some of the most classic characters, the film also involves music from some prominent artists like BoA, Maki Goto, Anna Tsuchiya, Tohoshinki, and TRF. He is then revived by “Space Jack” and is given a whole new name. This crossover portrays a what-if “return” story wherein the space boy drifts deep into space and is then rescued by the three members of Ravex. This crossover will take you back to the roots of the world of anime proving that anime would not be what it is today without the contribution of Osamu Tezuka. It celebrates Osamu’s “would-be” 80th birthday by portraying several of Tezuka’s creations such as ‘Black Jack’ and ‘Astro Boy’. 8. Ravex in Tezuka World (2009)Īs a tribute to the anime giant Osamu Tezuka, ‘Ravex in Tezuka World’ is an 18-minute short film that featured in an album of the Japanese band called Ravex. So overall, you can still watch this one if you’re looking for a soft introduction to the whole ‘UFO Robo Grendizer’ series. When it comes to the visuals side of it, for an anime that came out in the 70s, the action scenes are quite fluid but do have that vintage quality. Despite being the strongest robots ever known in the world of anime, defeating this giant monstrous creature proves to be no walk in the park for them.Ĭrossover aside, this movie involves your typical mecha action where the protagonists get slapped around like ragdolls until they’re able to hack a strategy to defeat the villain. In this anime movie, the three heroes battle a regenerative behemoth called Dragosaurus. There was a time when mecha completely ruled the world of anime with iconic giant robots like Grendizer, Getter Robo G and Great Mazinger. ‘Grendizer, Getter Robo G, Great Mazinger: Kessen! Daikaijuu!’ is an extremely old anime movie and you’re probably hearing about it for the first time. 9. Grendizer, Getter Robo G, Great Mazinger: Kessen! Daikaijuu! (1976) But if you’re a fan of the comics and the classic series, then this one is worth checking out. I wouldn’t recommend this crossover to someone who is not familiar with the characters of the two series as it makes no attempts to reintroduce or develop them. While the story of this OVA is pretty mediocre, the hard work of the studios clearly reflects through its crisp and clear visuals. However, the creators produced this OVA only when they felt that they would be able to meet the expectations of fans with some high-quality action scenes. This special 3 episode OVA features Cyborg 009 and Devilman, who are characters from the yesteryear of anime. Now that ‘ Devilman Crybaby‘ is on Netflix, this recent crossover might get the attention of many anime fans. Each hero uses his/her own special powers and an intense iconic battle between good and evil ensues. This is when the heroes from all five ‘Digimon’ series arrive to rescue the main protagonists of this series. In the grand finale of its three seasons, the series features an attack where all of our heroes are surrounded by evil forces. ![]() Definitely a must-watch for all ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!’ fans! 11. Digimon Xros Wars (2012)Īlso known as ‘Digimon Fusion’, ‘Digimon Xros Wars’ is the sixth anime series in the ‘ Digimon‘ franchise. Apart from that, this movie holds quite an interesting time travel story that will entertain you throughout its runtime. If you’ve been following the ‘ Yu-Gi-Oh!‘ franchise since its very beginning, then this one will give you some major nostalgia with the return of the fan service favorite Yugi Mutou. The three heroes are forced to time travel and join forces to fight a villain named Paradox who causes mayhem in the entire timeline by jumping from one time to another. ‘Yu-Gi-Oh!: Bonds Beyond Time’ is the ultimate crossover movie that unites Yugi Mutou, Yusei Fudou, and Yuki Judai who are the main protagonists of ‘ Yu-Gi-Oh!’, ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! GX’, and ‘Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds’ respectively.
